The Jar are single malt whisky specialists, as well as our first ever stockist! They take pride in the fact that they offer whiskies from all of Scotland’s current working distilleries, as well as some closed ones. Moreover, they stock a select few Scottish-produced gins, including Purist! The Jar specialise in rarer spirits that are less common in supermarkets.

The Jar also organises events, everything from in-shop whisky tastings to proper “whisky classes”, and even popular gin lunches. The staff are extremely knowledgeable and passionate about whisky & gin and more than happy to help.

David at The Jar stocks two of our gins  –  Purist Art, our award-winning Purist Gin London Dry (42%) with a collectable bottle design created by one of the young Scottish artists that we collaborate with. Moreover, they also stock our navy-strength Purist Black 57 (57%) which has become an extremely popular bottle in the Purist line-up.
