PURIST GIN BATCH #1 - ED SMITH
🏆 Bronze Medal Winner - 'London Dry Gin of the Year' - Scottish Gin Awards 2020
Purist Gin has a light orange and cassia spice on the nose, which develops in the mouth to a more rounded classic juniper and coriander with yuzu peel flavours bursting through as it mellows out into a sweet orange aftertaste lingering briefly before the pallet is left refreshed. The distillery uses a single-shot process and almond powder to really mellow out the ethanol and bind it with rich botanicals to provide not only a smooth gin but a very light mouthfeel.

ART DETAILSPurist Gin Batch #1 showcases this beautiful winter scene from award-winning photographer Ed Smith.
Ed’s gallery in Kingussie, Eleven41, was awarded the Independent Gallery of the year in the Scottish Business Awards 2020.
We met Ed at the end of summer 2020 and discussed the possibility of featuring his photography for a winter-themed bottle. Ed unearthed this fantastic piece, and we immediately fell in love with the natural beauty of the shot.
