Words from the Artist:

"My name is Angelo De Carvalho. I enjoy experimenting with a variety of types of shots, and I use street photography to drive my style. Since I came to Glasgow at the age of 10, I thrive in capturing everything that makes me appreciate the city. This is particularly important to me due to having lived a simple life in Brazil - where the conditions were limiting in terms of finance, making the chance of affording a camera near impossible. Glasgow, therefore, allowed me to make my aspirations a reality. Furthermore, Glasgow enabled me to become fully capable of reaching my calling. Whilst I have lived here for 11 years, I still perceive Glasgow as if it is my first day here; photography helps me to keep that mentality fresh."
